“SmartAgro” CJSC<\/a>\u00a0and employee Davit Navasardyan, Georgi Lalayan, director of “Tohmayin Kayan” CJSC and Karen Ghushyan, director of “ART 44” LLC cooperating with \u201cSmartAgro\u201d CJSC, paid a working visit to Austria for Austrian Flekcvieh heifers selection from the “Genetic Austria” organization. They visited more than 20 farms and got acquainted with the conditions of animal feeding and caring.<\/p>\nWithin the framework of the visit, they also participated in the agricultural fair “AGRARIA 2022” and met with the state councilor Mrs. Michaela Langer-Weninger. During the meeting, the director of “SmartAgro” CJSC Arman Ohanyan presented the successful experience of more than 8 years of cooperation with the “Genetic Austria” organization, and also referred to the importance of the projects implemented in Armenia in the fields of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine funded by the Austrian government.<\/p>\n
During the years of cooperation between “Genetic Austria” and “SmartAgro” organizations, more than 3,000 head of Flekcvieh heifers were imported from Austria to Armenia.<\/p>\n
And after the 2022 end-of-year working visit, 90 head of Flekcvieh heifers were imported, which are already in the smart farm in Armenia.<\/p>\n
