Agrovision (until 18.08.2022 the name of the company was CARD Agroservice) was founded in 2006 by, the Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development Foundation (later on CARD or CARD Foundation), which is one of the leading agricultural support organizations in Armenia with rich experience in collaborating with farm enterprises and processors in Armenia. Agrovision is a closed joint stock company that trades agricultural commodities and provides technical assistance and consulting services in all spheres of agricultural production.
CARD Foundation
is an Armenian organization. It was founded in 2005 as the successor to U.S. government development projects in Armenia, first the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Farm Extension Project (1993-1996) and then the USDA’s award-winning Marketing Assistance Project (1996-2005). These projects assisted with the rebuilding of the Armenian agriculture sector after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Subsidiary companies
Agrovision’s daughter organizations import high-quality and technologically advanced agricultural commodities, such as special farm equipment, tools and supplies as well as agricultural inputs including seeds and bovine semen, from worldwide leading companies and distribute them throughout Armenia according to market demand.
In addition, Agrovision provides consulting services mainly in the areas related to agricultural production, processing technologies, management and marketing.
Agrovision collaborates with partners and suppliers to educate, inspire and communicate the outstanding quality and benefits of their products.
